What we produce !

Our Ethimale Sugar Plant is recognized as the only fully automatic sugar factory capable of producing brown sugar. The current capacity of our factory is 1,450 TCD (Tonnes of Cane per Day), and our distillery can process 15,000 liters of ethanol per day, with plans to increase it to 18,000 liters per day in the future. We take pride in being an ISO quality-certified company with a truly sustainable ecosystem and 100% eco-friendly operations.

Brown Sugar

Sucrose commonly called sugar is used as a sweetening agent for food and beverages. The main function of sugar is to give sweetness and provide energy. Sugar is also used as a preservative.

Sugar is manufactured from sugarcane juice after purification, boiling, crystallization and Centrifuging.

Ethanol

Fermentation of sugar in molasses results in the production of Ethanol and Carbon-di-oxide. The generated CO2 is then purified and stored in storage tanks.

Fertilizer

Here, mainly we utilize press mud for windrow composting and spent wash mix by using an aero tiller. Then rest it dry and it should be mixed up continuously. In the Bio-compost unit, the process is carried out on a concrete floor yard with a Roof by aerobic Windrow Technology with special aerobic Microbial Culture. The Sugar Industry Filter Mud, ETP sludge and other solid wastes are

mixed suitably and Bio-activated on the concrete floor. The necessary moisture for the process is maintained by spraying effluent-treated water. The Bio – composting process would take about 45- 60 days for complete and the ready bio compost manure is utilised as organic manure.

CO2

CO2 is used in aerated beverages. It is also used as refrigerant and also in fire extinguishers. CO2 is the by-product of the fermentation of sugar molasses in the distillery.

Electricity

Ethimale generates 4 MW of electricity from bagasse, of which 2.2 MW are used to power our entire production plant, and the remaining 1.8MW are exported to the national grid. We plan to connect 4MW to the national grid during the off-season.

Bio-Fuel

Ethimale Plantation is committed to sustainability and efficient resource utilization. As a byproduct of our ethanol production
process, we generate biofuel. While not produced at a large scale, this biofuel is used internally to power our steam generators, reducing reliance on external energy sources and minimizing our environmental footprint. This approach reflects our dedication to responsible and sustainable operations.
